Global insurance services and tech solutions provider Charles Taylor has appointed Bobby Gracey to the role of global head of fraud.
As the global head of fraud, Gracey will help reinforce Charles Taylor’s existing counter fraud capabilities across the organisation, through class leading innovation, technology, thought leadership and operational cost containment solutions to the market, a company release said.
Gracey has 25 years of experience in the insurance counter fraud sector. He is the current chairman of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA)’s Anti-Fraud Committee – a role he has served for the last 10 years. He has also served as a judge at the UK Fraud Awards for several years. In addition to his industry roles, he is the author of a technical manual on claims fraud and is a frequent presenter at events.
“As insurers across the world look to control claims costs, the conditions for a greater level of claims fraud can increase, so developing counter fraud capabilities becomes essential. This is the time to support our clients further by developing our counter fraud expertise,” said Charles Taylor Adjusting CEO Damain Ely.
“Charles Taylor is the strongest provider of technical and professional services to insurers globally with unrivalled expertise in claims across multiple markets. I was particularly impressed by its global footprint and believe there is no one else in the market that can rival its claims operations,” commented Gracey on his appointment.
