The CEO of Australia’s largest insurance broking network has signed on until the end of 2020.
The
Steadfast Board has announced that managing director and CEO,
Robert Kelly, has agreed not to terminate his employment contract before 31 December 2020. That represents an additional three years from the date previously agreed, which was 31 December 2017.
An industry veteran with more than 45 years’ experience, Kelly remains one of the most respected leaders in the insurance industry in Australia. He was awarded the
ACORD Rainmaker Award in 2014.
He co-founded Steadfast, today the country’s largest broker network, which recently celebrated its 20
th anniversary.
In February, Steadfast posted a strong half-year result. The broker network’s underlying revenue rose 109% to $226.1 million in the first half of FY2016 and gross written premium went up 2.6% to $2.2 billion.
