Insurance Business Australia was saddened to hear about the death of a very capable, intelligent and community minded human being and insurance broker. Robert Baynard Cooper (pictured above) passed away over the weekend.
Robert was co-director of Brisbane based CPR Insurance Services. He won numerous industry awards and was a strong advocate for young people in the industry. Robert was also very active in his local community.
“We need to learn to listen to our clients, use empathy and people skills in the whole broker process, not just on claims,” he once said to IB.
Robert had 45 years of wide-ranging industry experience, launching his brokerage with his wife in 2010.
“Friends, family, clients, colleagues, anyone who knew this beautiful soul please join us for a celebration of Robert Baynard Cooper’s life,” said wife and CPR co-director, Mandy, in a Facebook post.
The celebration of life will be held on Thursday February 2 from 4pm at the Prince Consort Hotel, 230 Wickham St, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
Please see Mandy’s Facebook post for more information and RSVP details.
Mandy has asked that people make a donation in Robert’s name to the Leukemia Foundation. You can donate here.
