CBL has appointed Suzanne Tindal, a former director at
PwC, as chief operating officer, effective Feb. 1.
Tindal, a qualified CPA and member of the NZ and Australian Institute of Directors and Project Management Institute, brings to her new role her extensive experience in operations, finance, and treasury, in debt and capital markets in insurance and banking industries and in the public sector.
Prior to joining PwC, Tindal worked at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, PMI Mortgage Insurance Australia, and in China, India, and Indonesia. She was most recently appointed as chief finance officer for Auckland Council.
“With Ms Tindal's appointment coming on the back of Mr Mark Christer's appointment as CEO Europe a few months ago, and more recently Jennah Wootten as group GM: people and culture strategy, CBL has some very high-calibre people to build on the existing talented team, and is well-placed to support its long-term goals,” said Peter Harris, CBL managing director.
Tindal is a finalist in the NZ Woman of Influence Awards and a non-executive director of Mainfreight.
