Financial comparison website Canstar has revealed the winners of its 2020 “Most Satisfied Customers” award for home and car insurance.
The Canstar awards provide information to help customers make financial decisions by reflecting how happy customers are with their insurers.

In the home insurance category, Queensland-based insurer Youi won in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria. Meanwhile, South Australian insurer RAA won in South Australia and RAC claimed the award in Western Australia.
In the car insurance category, Youi again managed a clean sweep across all three eastern Australia states, with Woolworths tying in Victoria. Meanwhile, RAA bagged the award in South Australia and RAC won in Western Australia.
Hugo Schreuder, chief executive officer of Youi, said that his company’s success demonstrated its commitment to “listening and treating each customer as an individual and this truly personalised approach had well and truly paid off.”
“It’s great to win awards such as this as it lets us know that we’re doing the right thing for our customers, which is what we strive to do every day,” he said.
