Tasmanian brokers have been offered a free half day of CPD training and information through the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC).
While the UAC runs information road-shows in the mainland capitals UAC general manager William Legge says few groups head to Tasmania and this will be the first session of its type.
According to Legge the half-day expo is receiving strong support from across the state and is open to insurer brokers at no cost and is aimed at educating and informing brokers of the work underwriters do, how they can partner together and new products on offer.
The event will take place in Hobart at the Hotel Grand Chancellor on February 20 and will attract NIBA CPD points.
