In a bid to get closer to brokers, Mechanical and Construction Insurance [MECON] Winsure has opened an office in Perth, Western Australia.
With an increasing number of clients in Perth and more brokers conducting business in the city, CEO Glenn Ross said it made sense to set up a branch there.
“This move reflects our long-term commitment to the Perth market and is the realisation of another milestone in the company’s development,” he added.
MECON Winsure has appointed Colin Ferguson to the position of senior development underwriter in the Perth office. Ferguson has more than 20 years industry experience including extensive commercial insurance experience and underwriting exposure. He previously held senior positions in both underwriting and broking environments.
