BMS Group has named Alejandro Ceron as chief operating officer of the company’s operations in Latin America & the Caribbean, effective immediately.
He will be based in Miami in his new role, and will report to BMS Latin America & Caribbean CEO Jose Astorqui.
Ceron has over 28 years of experience in international corporate management, most recently serving as the CEO of a consulting firm he founded in 2016, focusing on corporate governance and organisational growth strategy. Prior to that, he was associated with Marsh & McLennan, where he led the company’s HR and sales operation in Latin America from 2002 to 2016. Ceron has also held a number of senior HR roles at Philips Lighting in the Netherlands and PepsiCo in Mexico.
According to BMS Latin America & Caribbean CEO Jose Astorqui, BMS has been expanding its operations and brand presence in Latin America and the Caribbean since 2015 – with about $200 million in premiums brokered in the region in 2019. BMS is confident in launching the next phase of its expansion in the region, together with the expertise of Ceron, Astorqui added.
“BMS is well-recognised for its talented team and versatility in market conditions. The Latin American and Miami market has been changing dramatically and I’m excited to join BMS at this phase of development,” commented Ceron.
