An IT liability underwriting expert with more than 10 years of industry experience has joined Berkley Insurance Australia.
Damien Stephen has been appointed as senior underwriter and national product leader for IT liability, tasked with the development and product promotion of the IT liability product on a national basis.
“We have been looking for an opportunity to develop our IT book and are very pleased to have Damien on board as our IT liability expert,” said Tony Wheatley, Berkley CEO. “Damien’s knowledge and experience means we are now even better placed to assist brokers and their clients with high-quality service and expertise.”
Prior to Berkley, Stephen held IT liability underwriting roles at Brooklyn Underwriting and Axis Specialty Insurance. He also worked as broker/network administrator at Watkins Taylor Stone Insurance Brokers and was with Aon for four years.
