A specialist insurance business has received double honours at the 2018 Reactions London Market Awards, an annual gala dinner event featuring the top talent and companies in London’s vibrant re/insurance market.
Beazley scooped the Insurance Company of the Year award, while its chief executive, Andrew Horton, was recognised as Insurance CEO of the Year.
"The judges wanted to reward Beazley for the success it has enjoyed over the last year, with its strong results in a difficult year earning particular praise,” said Christopher Munro, managing editor at Reactions. "CEO Andrew Horton has not only overseen that success, but he has also been an instrumental figure in the London Makes It Possible campaign, helping to ensure that London remains home to the most vibrant, innovative, and world-leading reinsurance market in the world."
Beazley said it was honoured have been named Insurer of the Year for three out of the last four years.
