An insurance and health law firm has expanded its national financial lines expertise with a new Melbourne hire.
Joining Barry.Nilsson.'s Melbourne office as consultant is Radhika Mendis, a financial lines specialist with more than 15 years of experience working in the London insurance market, advising Australian and overseas insurers, including Lloyd’s syndicates, in the areas of professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ liability, and employment practices liability. Her particular expertise is in the financial and building and construction sectors.
“We have already achieved a significant reputation for financial lines insurance, and Radhika’s appointment further strengthens the depth and calibre of our already sizeable Melbourne offering, with Radhika having acted in some of Australia’s largest professional indemnity and D&O claims,” said Hubert Wajszel, Victorian financial lines practice leader.
