The first placer on the
Insurance Business Top 10 Brokerages list has achieved back-to-back wins this week, in recognition of its commitment to improving customer experience in the small business insurance space.
BizCover won the Small Business Award for Business Excellence at the Australian Multicultural Marketing Awards, and was ranked in the
Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a list of the top 50 fastest-growing technology firms, based on percentage revenue growth over three years.
The business award was for BizCover's “Small Business Insurance Made Even Easier” campaign, which saw the firm developing a Chinese-language version of its website, including the entire quoting process, to help Chinese business owners understand the fine print and get their insurance sorted online.
Meanwhile, BizCover's inclusion in the Deloitte's annual list – the fourth time this year – showcases BizCover as a forward-thinking business, said Josh Tanchel, Deloitte private partner and Tech Fast 50 leader.
“Every year we see the bar set higher and every year it is surpassed,” Tanchel said. “In the 17 years that Tech Fast 50 has been running, this year’s top 50 have the highest average growth rate we’ve ever seen, at 664%.”
Michael Gottlieb, BizCover founder and CEO, said the firm's growth demonstrates the need of small business owners “to be able to insure themselves quickly and easily, self-serving through a transparent technology platform.”
“We are continuing to drive an improved service and more relevant offerings, including projects like the Chinese-language site,” Gottlieb said. “There is a lot more in store, and we can’t wait for 2018 to drive more change in the industry. “
