Aviso Group announces two executive hires

Aviso Group, a private insurance broking firm formed by seven broker partners last year, and insurance investment company Envest have announced the appointment of two senior leaders.

Craig Robson, former national manager of state operations at Allianz, was appointed CEO, while John Clayton, a 40-year industry veteran whose last role was chairman and Pacific region head at Marsh, was named executive chairman.

The Aviso Group comprises Aviso WA (formerly IC Frith WA), Fitzpatrick & Co Insurance Brokers (VIC), Eagle Insurance Brokers (NSW), Acumen Insurance Brokers (NSW), MacMurray Insurance Brokers (TAS), Allsafe Insurance Brokers (QLD), and Insurance Aid General Brokers (QLD). It has 17 offices nationally and a gross written premium of $155m.
