Ausure is gearing up for its annual conference in South Africa from April 12 to 20, which aims to blend business with an immersive cultural experience.
Ausure CEO Scott McCarthy shared insights on the selection of South Africa for this year’s conference, emphasising the opportunity it presents to forge deeper connections among the attendees.
“We’re truly excited to be able to host our 2024 conference in South Africa,” he said. “The thrill of being in the African bush doing game drives and the sheer beauty of Cape Town and its surroundings make it a unique experience for the group. A trip like this, with around 100 people, including our insurer and funding partners, creates connections that you do not get from a normal conference event.”
The conference itinerary begins in Johannesburg, moving swiftly to the Ivory Tree Game Lodge. This leg of the journey includes various activities designed to foster team bonding and provide memorable experiences.
The conference’s core day, set for April 14, promises a full agenda dedicated to enriching professional ties and exchanging insights.
Subsequently, the delegation will proceed to Cape Town, setting their sights on The Table Bay Hotel. This stage of the conference is meant to offer a blend of exploration and relaxation.
Key sponsors, including SafetyCulture Care, Arteva, and NTI, expressed enthusiasm for their involvement.
One of the gold sponsors, SafetyCulture Care’s head of strategic partnerships, Damien Cullen, commented: “Ausure is a great supporter and advocate of our proposition, and SCC is really excited about being a gold sponsor for the conference.”
Daniel Gronert, CEO of Arteva, a key partner of Ausure this year and a gold sponsor, added: “We are really looking forward to spending quality time with the Ausure team and enjoying some fantastic adventures together. I haven’t travelled to South Africa before, so I’m excited to see the ‘big five’ and spend some evenings socialising over a quality ‘brai’ and South African wine.”
