Ausure has entered into a partnership with CPR Insurance Services, a brokerage based in Grange, Queensland.
This follows a decision by CPR principal Mandy Cooper to take an extended leave of absence.
Cooper (pictured left), who has led CPR Insurance Services for several years, said the decision was prompted by personal reflection and significant life changes.
“After much reflection, I made the decision to take some extended leave from the business. Through it all, the unwavering loyalty and support from the industry and our clients have been a source of strength. After much reflection, I’ve decided it’s time to take a step back to focus on my children and myself,” she said.
She reflected on her family’s challenges over recent years, particularly following the passing of her husband Robert in 2023.
“Robert and I married in 1998, and in 2000 we moved to Queensland. I treasured every moment of the precious 25 years we spent together until his passing in 2023. The past few years have been a journey of significant changes for our family. After Robert’s passing, life has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs... from unexpected challenges and heartbreaks to memorable celebrations and milestones,” Cooper said.
To ensure a smooth transition for CPR’s clients, Ausure general manager – broker, Rolf Van Dulst, outlined the support being provided by Ausure and CPR’s existing team members.
“Whilst I am saddened by the circumstances surrounding Mandy Cooper's decision for extended leave, and the acquisition of the CPR portfolio, I feel one of the strengths of the Ausure network is that the clients that have long benefited from the highly professional services provided by Mandy and the team at CPR Insurance Services will continue to benefit from the same standard of service through the Ausure CPR Insurance Brokers team into the future,” he said.
He said that Cindy Boyle (pictured right), a key member of the CPR team, will remain involved to help manage the transition.
“Our team of professionally qualified and experienced staff, supplemented by Cindy Boyle of CPR, will strive to maintain the high standards CPR clients have come to expect from their insurance brokers,” Van Dulst said.
Ausure’s acquisition of CPR Insurance Services marks its fourth partnership in recent years, including its purchase of Coastsure in July.
The expansion reflects Ausure’s ongoing strategy to grow its authorised representative network across Australia.
The CPR Insurance Services team joining Ausure includes senior and account executives such as:
Operating as Ausure CPR Insurance Brokers, the firm will continue to focus on business and general insurance services.
Van Dulst said Ausure remains committed to supporting clients throughout the insurance process, from personalised advice to claims management.
“Our broader team, including the dedicated claims team, will ensure client satisfaction remains the benchmark by which we gauge ourselves. I’d also like to wish Mandy all the very best for the future,” he said.
