Ausure, one of the largest insurance and financial advisory networks, has acquired Insure 247 to gain greater presence in the digital space.
Since its inception in 2012, Insure 247 has been owned and operated by the Sloan family while being an authorised representative of Ausure.
As part of the acquisition, Insure 247’s senior management will join Ausure, with Insure 247 founder Stephen Sloan named as the new general manager head of communications and digital. Meanwhile, Adam Sloan, an Insurance Business Young Guns awards winner, takes on the role of sales manager head of sales.
The acquisition also allowed Ausure to take an equity stake in 247 Systems – a virtual insurance distribution system that uses a digital-first, cloud-based platform offering integrated transactions among clients, brokers, and underwriters.
