A global alliance of insurance law firms has welcomed an Australian specialist law firm to its network.
Sparke Helmore is the latest member to join Global Insurance Law Connect (GILC), which now comprises of 14 member firms covering five continents, offering an extensive network of local lawyers with detailed insurance experience.
Gillian Davidson, a partner in Sparke Helmore’s commercial insurance group, also joined the GILC board as the Asia-Pacific representative.

Jim Sherwood, GILC chairman, said Sparke Helmore’s addition to the network will add greater critical mass to GILC’s ability to offer re/insurers, brokers, and policyholders “more genuine local expertise in specialist fields and help reduce the time and money they spend on managing their risks.”
