A Canberra-based insurance broker has increased its support of rugby in Canberra by becoming the back-of-shorts sponsors for the Brumbies team for the 2018 Super Rugby season.
Austbrokers Canberra was already a major part of the local rugby team, as an official membership partner of the club.
“Austbrokers Canberra have been proud supporters of the Brumbies for a number of years and it gives me great pride to partner with this iconic sporting entity again in 2018,” Greg Johnston, Austbrokers Canberra managing director, said in a Riot ACT report. “This partnership allows us to demonstrate our support not only on the field but also through the delivery of our insurance solutions.”
“Austbrokers Canberra have already demonstrated their commitment to the game in the ACT and the surrounding region by their sponsorship of the Brumbies and we thank them for extending their involvement by becoming back of shorts sponsor,” said Brumbies CEO Michael Thomson. “We are looking forward to working with Austbrokers Canberra throughout the 2018 Super Rugby season and beyond.”
