Ardonagh Global Partners (AGP), the growing global division of The Ardonagh Group, has appointed Alissa Pfitzner (pictured) as its new general counsel.
Pfitzner has 20 years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), integration, and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions. Most recently, she was the founder and a principal of Amicus Legal, established in 2015.
Pfitzner is based in Sydney, where AGP acquired Resilium Insurance Brokers, Australia's largest independently owned intermediary network, and established Ethos Broking Australia and Resilium Partners.
AGP CEO Des O'Connor commented: “We're delighted to welcome Alissa on board and draw on her deep knowledge and expertise as Ardonagh Global Partners continues its ambitious investment plans.
“With every acquisition, we aim to become a strategic partner to high-quality businesses – leveraging on our scale and experience to build real value in new, strong markets. We now operate in three continents, and Alissa will be critical in our continued momentum.”
Pfitzner added: “I'm pleased to be joining Ardonagh Global Partners at such an exciting point of its development and to be working with Des and the team to strengthen Ardonagh's global presence and achieve our ambitious growth plans.”
