The accident and health (A&H) division of Arch Insurance Australia has added senior underwriters Melissa Ahern and Simon Reid to its roster.
Effective immediately, the underwriting duo will be in charge of developing new opportunities for growth and providing targeted solutions for individuals, programmes, facilities, and associations across a broad range of A&H products. They will report to A&H underwriting manager Atele Toma.
Ahern, who will be based in Melbourne, brings nearly two decades of insurance market experience to Arch Insurance Australia. She most recently served in the same capacity at QBE.
Reid, a 15-year industry veteran who joins from Chubb Insurance Australia where he too was A&H senior underwriter, will be located in Sydney.
