Arch Insurance Australia has announced the appointment of Alex Mackinnon (pictured) as the executive assurance underwriting manager for the Northern Region, effective immediately.
In his new role, Mackinnon will oversee the growth of Arch's executive assurance portfolio in New South Wales, Queensland, and the Australian Capital Territory. He will operate from Sydney and report to Louise Lumley, the executive assurance underwriting manager.
Mackinnon joins Arch with significant experience in underwriting, particularly in management liability and financial lines. Previously, he served as the management liability practice lead at AIG Australia, where he also worked as a senior underwriter.

“His depth of broker relationships will help to further strengthen our service offering and ability to provide solutions for the evolving needs of our mutual clients. His Northern Region market knowledge and technical expertise in areas such as management liability and association liability will also be invaluable in product development and accelerating our growth plans."
