Arch Insurance Australia (Arch) has added to its underwriting team in Southern Region with the appointment of Katrina Palmer as senior underwriter for executive assurance, effective immediately.
Palmer is expected to support the growth of Arch’s directors and officers (D&O) and management liability portfolios for the Southern Region, including Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, and Tasmania.
She will be based in Melbourne and report to Steven Gaitanis, Southern Region underwriting manager for executive assurance at Arch.
Gaitanis, said: “Katrina is a fantastic addition to our executive assurance team. Her considerable experience, deep market knowledge, and extensive industry networks will be instrumental to the Southern Region, as we continue to strengthen our service proposition and enhance our relevance to our brokers.”
Earlier this month, Arch named Lucy Wood as northern manager for accident and health for its Northern Region team.
