Aon will rejoin AgQuip, an annual agricultural field days event in Australia, as a sponsor for its 50th anniversary.
AgQuip organisers, ACM Rural Event, said the 50th-year celebration will look back across the five decades of Aon AgQuip while showcasing the best in agri-technology.
“What a mammoth journey it has been, and I am so very proud and excited to be preparing for the 50th Aon AgQuip,” said AgQuip general manager Kate Nugent. “Already we have hundreds of exhibitors locked in, filling our 34-hectare purpose-built site at Gunnedah. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for our 50th anniversary.
“AgQuip brings together businesses, suppliers, producers, and consumers, providing an opportunity to connect and engage. This year's event will deliver the biggest exhibition of new cutting-edge technology and services to drive on-farm efficiency and provide educational opportunities to drive the growth of our nation's agriculture industry.”
The three-day event is expected to see more than 80,000 attendees and hundreds of exhibitors from across Australia and overseas.
As a long-time major sponsor of the event, Aon will have a team of specialists on standby across the three days to provide professional advice and solutions to primary producers.
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Aon back as a major sponsor for the 50th event,” Nugent said. “Protecting the livelihoods of our farmers is paramount, and for more than three decades, Aon's network of specialists has supported the nation's primary producers, helping to safeguard their most important assets.”
Tim Trandafilu, national practice leader for agribusiness at Aon, said the firm recognises the agriculture industry's contributions to the Australian economy and local communities.
“Aon is proud to be a major sponsor of AgQuip, and 50 years is a huge achievement,” he said. “That is why we are delighted to be involved and supporting AgQuip to help address the underserved needs of our clients and their businesses. With a network of 35 branches across Australia, we are committed to our presence in regional areas, supporting our communities, and providing our clients with advice and solutions that give them the clarity and confidence to make better decisions to help protect and grow their businesses.”
The event will run from August 22 to 24 at the Black Jack Road site, eight kilometres west of Gunnedah, New South Wales.
