The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) will host its 48th annual ANZIIF South Australian Charity Luncheon to raise money for Camp Quality, a non-profit organisation that offers services and programs supporting children aged up to 15 years who are dealing with their cancer diagnosis or a loved one's diagnosis.
The charity luncheon, which has been running for over four decades, aims to provide a platform for the South Australian insurance industry to give back to the community by spreading awareness and raising money for children and families affected by cancer.
Former Port Adelaide footballer and South Australian Football Hall of Famer Tim Ginever is the MC for the latest ANZIIF South Australian Charity Luncheon. The fundraising activities include a silent auction, a wine wall, and a raffle.
“The whole team at ANZIIF is excited to once again host ‘COVID-safe’ in-person professional development and networking events in 2021 – I encourage South Australian professionals to make use of our early bird ticket sale and support Camp Quality,” said Damian Falkingham, ANZIIF general manager industry engagement.
As part of the charity luncheon, Camp Quality volunteer and cancer survivor Shaun Li will share his experience of dealing with cancer. When he was 10 years old, Li was diagnosed with a Wilms' tumour, a rare kidney cancer that primarily affects children. Over 10 years later, Li volunteers and captures photos for Camp Quality.
The charity luncheon will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on May 14. Early bird tickets are available until April 02.
