Gearing up for the 2024 AICLA/ANZIIF Claims Convention, the organisation has revealed the speaker lineup for the event, which will take place on Sept. 26 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
The event, jointly organised with the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA), will explore the theme “Claims Under the Microscope – Driving Better Outcomes.” It will address key issues, including the Federal Parliamentary Flood Inquiry, risks associated with lithium batteries, environmental claims, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the claims process.
The convention will also explore climate-related challenges, advancements in marine insurance, and emerging risks like arson claims.
ANZIIF is also preparing for its annual Group Life Seminar, scheduled for Sept. 3 at the Sheraton Grand Hyde Park in Sydney.
The event, available both in-person and online, will provide a platform for life insurance professionals to discuss current industry trends and challenges. Topics will include the role of health and wellbeing platforms in life insurance and the use of AI in fraud detection.
