Specialist insurer Ansvar Insurance has announced a series of forums to be held across Australia in August.
The 2016 Education Series Forum series, titled
Innovation Revolution: The New Age of Insurance, is set to explore how technological changes impact the future of insurance and how societal changes will influence the market.

Two keynote speakers who will provide expert insight into the changing landscape of the insurance industry are Warren Burns and Allan Manning.
Burns is the director of technology think tank The Leading Edge Forum, Asia and the founder of innovation agency BurnsRed. He will discuss the emergence of disruptive technologies, the need for the industry to stay relevant, and the future of the industry in terms of buying behaviours and risk assessments.
Manning is the founder and managing director of
LMI Group and the president of the International Institute of Claims Preparers. He will present the changing nature of insurance and how futuristic changes to society will influence the insurance market.
During the forums, Ansvar will introduce new risk solutions offerings available to clients and will launch their new suite of tailored Business Insurance products, the specialist insurer said in a statement.
The forums will be held on the following dates:
- Novotel in Brisbane on 2 August;
- Curwoods in Sydney on 11 August;
- Citadines in Bourke Street, Melbourne on 15 August;
- Mercure Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide on 19 August; and
- Four Points by Sheraton in Perth on 23 August.
