A leading specialist provider of underwriting, claims, and risk management services in the marine and transit sector is extending its reach to New Zealand.
Allianz Marine and Transit (AM&T), an agent of
Allianz Australia, has expanded into New Zealand, and has also taken charge of the underwriting and claims management of the marine portfolio of the
Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (
AGCS) across the Pacific region.

The geographic expansion will see the addition of an Auckland-based operation manned by Allianz NZ marine manager Darren Pattle and two well-known NZ marine specialists, Henry Wallace and Korey Pese, to its offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.
The new AM&T operation will provide Kiwi brokers with cargo, carriers, commercial hull, and marine liability solutions.
