Arthur J
Gallagher has signalled its growth intent with a key leadership appointment in Australia.
The growing brokerage has announced that Dan Quintin has been appointed as the new branch manager in Hobart as the company looks to grow its footprint in the southern state.
Quintin, who also worked for AJG in London, will take over the Hobart role in October following an insurance career spanning more than fifteen years.
Andrew Godden, chief executive of AJG in Australia, said that Quintin represents the calibre of employee the company wishes to attract as they look to strengthen their growing brand in the region.
“Dan is exactly the kind of quality talent we want to attract to help bring out global strength and national capability into local markets where we have a long-standing community presence like Hobart,” Godden said.
“He’s always got the clients’ interest at heart and has an exceptional ability to find the right solutions across a wide range of client types and industries. I have no doubt he’ll do exceptionally well, and both our Hobart team and clients will see the benefits of Dan’s skills very quickly.”
Quintin, who was most recently a senior account manager as
GSA, said that he is excited to accept this new role and that the region offers a big scope for growth for the company.
“I’m excited to be re-joining the Gallagher family in Hobart, along with being closer to my own family in the area,” Quintin said.
“I see a world of opportunity ahead for us to provide the best possible insurance advice and solutions to our clients given the tremendous resources in the organisation.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team, meeting our clients and growing our business.”
AJG have had a busy year on the acquisitions front with the purchase of
Blue Holdings Group and
Instrat Insurance Brokers which now sees the company employ over 800 people, across 30 branches with more than 120,000 clients throughout Australia.
