Craig Stanley has been the business development manager for CHU Underwriting Agencies Qld and NT since June 2020. In just over 12 months he has repositioned the CHU Qld branch as modern, agile, and focused on delivering ever-improving customer outcomes.

Stanley is analytical and a strategic thinker who strives on achieving growth by providing solutions and nurturing relationships.

A passionate advocate for role of technology in insurance, he runs a lot of training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.

Stanley's underwriting ability, focus, passion, and innovative approach make him a non-traditional BDM for a non-traditional time in insurance.

One of his great standouts in the last 18 months was the way he quickly adapted when COVID-19 hit, creating a new strategy and implementing it using virtual meetings. This involved mentoring underwriters to develop relationship management skills.

In 2021, Stanley was also named a 5-Star BDM by Insurance Business Australia and was rated excellent across the categories of customer service, responsiveness, communication and product knowledge.
