Ben developed a passion for aviation at a young age and has been involved in the aviation industry for the past 14 years and aviation insurance for over 10 years. Ben brings a unique and practical insight into solving the special insurance needs of his diverse aviation clients.

Ben started working as a part time trainee with PSB Insurance Brokers while undertaking a Bachelor of Aviation Management and Bachelor of Business studies at university, which he completed in 2013. Ben has built his career in the insurance industry from the ground up, gaining a deep understanding and an extensive knowledge base of insurance broking operations.

Ben has been mentored and trained by some of the best businessmen and brokers in the industry who have taught him a strong passion for customer care and service, client liaison, follow up and business profitability.

The wide geographical spread of his aviation industry clients sees Ben dealing in all corners of Australia and New Zealand

Ben assisted in development of PSB’s On Line Aviation Insurance Product for RA-Aus registered aircraft and is continuing to assist development of the platform to full renewal life cycle system.

Not content on being only an aviation specialist, Ben has thrown himself into general insurance and has built a keen eye for cross selling of policies to meet his aviation clients personal and business needs.

Ben actively participates in both formal and informal education through NIBA and underwriter forums. He believes that great knowledge is the key for client retention and satisfaction plus a sustainable business and industry.

Ben hopes to play a role in the training and career development of future insurance brokers so that he can repay the debt of gratitude that he has for his own mentors.

Ben’s initial employer has been recently purchased by Insurance House bringing all the benefits to clients that a larger brokerage has to offer.
