Jon founded Action Insurance Brokers in 1993. This was followed by Action Entertainment Insurance in 2000 and Arena Underwriting in 2007. All businesses started as “greenfield” operations and since their commencement have grown to include over 50 Team Members in 7 locations in NSW and QLD with more than 8000 clients across all industry segments. Jon’s 42 years’ experience in general insurance includes broking, claims, underwriting, risk surveying and reinsurance placements. Jon holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Broking) and is a Fellow of NIBA and a Senior Associate and CIP of ANZIIF. Jon is an active supporter of continued learning and provides ongoing mentorship across the Action Group, sharing his technical, commercial and leadership experience.  Personally, Jon has been married for 34 years with 2 adult daughters who have both been part of the Action Group, he is a lifelong Swans supporter and has a keen interest in property investment. Jon has also served as an Advisor to two not-for- profit organisations.
