Don Ferguson
EML

Don was long-term head of the NSW Lifetime Care statutory scheme. He also led icare NSW as interim CEO and Managing Director in the second half of 2020 and was credited with strengthening engagement with the regulator, industry stakeholders and driving reform of culture and governance.

Don has also led the NSW Dust Diseases workers’ compensation scheme and served as interim head of the NSW Self Insurance Corporation.

Don has previously worked as a senior executive in NSW government, where he directed a multi-agency response to people with multiple and complex needs. He has served as a non-executive director of the Sargood Centre and MS Limited NSW, VIC, ACT and Tasmania.

Don commenced as CEO of EML Management in September 2021 and is responsible for EML Victoria, EML SA and Shared Services.
