Sarah Lyons has been Chief Executive of Gallagher’s Australia Broking operations since July 2017, bringing decades of insurance industry experience to this key role within Gallagher, a global leader in insurance, risk management and consulting services.

As Chief Executive, Sarah has set Gallagher Australia on course to achieve scale, growth, enhanced capability and presence in the domestic market. With a more than 1,000 team members across 30+ locations serving 130,000+ clients, Gallagher Australia has achieved year on year growth under Sarah’s leadership and now places more than $1.55bn GWP annually.

Throughout her career in Australia, the UK and Ireland, Sarah has built broad corporate operational experience across a mix of executive and C-Suite roles. Alongside her focus on broking, her skillset includes sales, marketing, risk, M&A and claims expertise.

Sarah has been recognised on multiple occasions by the industry including receiving accolades from Insurance Business, being regularly named on its Hotlist, Elite Women in Insurance and also being selected multiple times to feature within the Global 100 of influential insurance professionals.
