JLT Re has appointed Stephen Punch as Asia-Pacific managing director for regional clients and retrocession. The appointment will take effect in early 2017, following several appointments by the firm this year.
Based in Sydney, Punch is a veteran of over 20 years in the re/insurance industry, joining JLT from rival reinsurance firm Willis Re, where he was an executive director. Prior to Willis Re, he has held leadership positions at
Aon Benfield and Gen Re.

His knowledge of treaty, retrocession and credit and financial risks working with multinational clients is a perfect fit for JLT Re.”
