Fortitude Re has received the Great Place to Work Certification from Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture and employee experience.
The Great Place to Work Certification is based on the results of the Trust Index survey administered by the Great Place to Work Institute, which assesses employee satisfaction in key areas, including credibility, respect, fairness, and camaraderie.
The survey results revealed that 95% of employees said management is honest and ethical in its business practices. Additionally, 89% of employees are proud to tell others they work at Fortitude Re, and 87% feel they make a difference at the company.
In addition, 88% of employees indicated that people care about each other at Fortitude Re, while 85% stated they are offered training or development to further themselves professionally. The survey also highlighted that 93% of employees felt welcome when they joined Fortitude Re, and 95% said they are treated fairly regardless of race, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
Finally, 88% of employees expressed that they feel good about the ways Fortitude Re contributes to the community.
“Our people are our greatest asset and we’ve been very deliberate about fostering a culture defined by trust, transparency, innovation, and collaboration. This recognition underscores our commitment to supporting the personal and professional growth of our colleagues and cultivating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected and valued,” CEO Alon Neches (pictured above) said.
“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” Great Place To Work vice president of global recognition Sarah Lewis-Kulin said.
She noted that certification is the only official recognition earned through real-time feedback from employees about their company culture.
“By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Fortitude Re stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees,” she said.
According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits, and have a fair chance at promotion.
