Everest has announced the appointment of Chuck Volker as the new chairman of global property at Everest Reinsurance. In this role, he will serve as the primary liaison for property brokers and clients associated with the company.
Volker has been with the company for more than 20 years, across roles encompassing treaty property, marine, and aerospace underwriting. As per his LinkedIn, he also spent 15 years with Phoenix Reinsurance before his tenure at Everest.
Volker’s appointment is aimed at reinforcing Everest Reinsurance’s commitment to delivering outstanding global service. His role will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the company’s focus on client-centric solutions in the global market.
It is also just the latest in a series of high-profile announcements for the firm’s reinsurance division. Earlier this month, the firm also announced the appointment of Mark Wallace as the head of its UK branch and chief underwriting officer.
