Insurance solutions provider Orion180 has extended its admitted homeowners’ insurance offerings to North Carolina via its admitted carrier Orion180 Select.
With the move, Orion180 now provides homeowners’ insurance in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, and South Carolina. Policy options differ by state, with insurance solutions offered through admitted carrier Orion180 Select in noncoastal areas and surplus lines insurance carrier Orion180 Insurance Co. in coastal areas.
The latest addition follows Orion180’s recent recognition as 785th on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the US. The technology-driven insurance brand said it will continue its expansion through the end of 2024, with plans to launch new products and enter additional markets.
In January, Orion180 widened its homeowners’ insurance business by adding Georgia and Indiana to the states it serves, while Arizona was included in April.
Orion180 founder and chief executive Ken Gregg said earlier this year: “Entering the Georgia and Indiana homeowners’ markets is part of Orion180’s strategic plan to provide insurance solutions to coastal and noncoastal areas in the South and Midwest.
“We envision delivering admitted and non-admitted homeowners’ insurance solutions to coastal and noncoastal areas on a semi-national basis.”
This time around, with the new development, the CEO noted: “We are committed to serving diverse markets across the US where insurance capacity is becoming more challenging. With Orion180’s cutting-edge technology and personalized touch, North Carolina insureds can feel confident their home is protected.”
Independent agents in North Carolina are invited to reach out for potential partnerships.
Orion180’s Orion180 Select is approved to provide coverage in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Ohio, while non-admitted firm Orion180 Insurance Co. trades in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
