McDonald Zaring Insurance is a full-time, independent agency which has been a part of the Walla Walla community since its establishment in 1932, boasting a 90% customer retention record. McDonald Zaring serves individuals and businesses of all sizes across all industries, including agri-business, health clinics, financial institutions, and contractors. All 19 of its employees – including leaders Shaun and David Borth and Kevin Baffney – will be joining Marsh McLennan Agency in its new Walla Walla office.
Shaun expressed his delight in what he called the “next chapter” of McDonald Zaring’s journey with the Marsh McLennan family. He believed the acquisition would allow McDonald Zaring to provide a wider range of resources and service capabilities to its present and future clients while also giving its colleagues new professional and personal development opportunities – “all within the culture of focusing on our colleagues, clients, and communities”.
Kyle Lingscheit, chief executive officer for the Northwest region of Marsh McLennan Agency, also welcomed McDonald Zaring Insurance into the fold.

With the acquisition of McDonald Zaring Insurance, Marsh McLennan Agency is now 9,000-colleagues strong, with 170 offices across North America. It provides business insurance, employee health and benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals.
