High Street Insurance Partners (HSIP) has announced that it has acquired Maritime Insurance International, one of the nation’s largest marine-specific agencies.
South Carolina-based Marine Insurance International provides boat, yacht and commercial marine insurance. It has four offices on the East Coast and serves coastal and lakefront communities across the country.
“We have a significant concentration of business in the Southeast, with over 40 agencies,” said Scott Wick, CEO of HSIP. “With the addition of Maritime Insurance International, our growing marine specialty practice can better serve our clients in this region and nationally with all their maritime needs.”

The acquisition is one of 17 that HSIP finalized in December, making it one of the most active brokerage firms of 2021 in terms of acquisitions. In the past three years, HSIP has acquired 97 agencies. The firm’s geographic footprint spans 23 states.
