Signers National has officially announced its acquisition of two prominent nonprofit insurance companies: Eclipse Risk Insurance Services and Whittaker Agency.
These new additions will be operated under the umbrella of Lamb Insurance Services, a member company and retail agency within the insurance group’s family.
Headquartered in California, Eclipse Risk Insurance Services specializes in providing insurance solutions for nonprofit and human services. It is focused on the home health sector, with the company offering comprehensive coverage to businesses along the West Coast. Current head Frank McDermott will continue to lead the company and oversee operations as a member of the Lamb Insurance team.
“Becoming a part of the Signers team opens up significant avenues for our agency to better serve the nonprofit home health community,” McDermott said. “We are excited to align with esteemed leaders in our industry and are committed to furthering their mission of catering to nonprofit and human service clients across the nation.”
Whittaker Agency, led by Danny Whittaker in Rockford, Ill., is a prominent player in insuring churches and religious organizations within Illinois and neighboring states. With the recent establishment of an office in Chicago by Lamb Insurance, this new acquisition will bolster efforts to expand its presence in the Midwest. Like Eclipse, Whittaker will also operate under the Lamb Insurance banner.
“Nationally, there exists a discernible demand for comprehensive insurance tailored to the distinct needs of churches and religious entities. As part of the Signers team, we will be able to extend specialized coverage to a broader array of organizations,” Whittaker said.
Signers National CEO Josh Lamberg said that these two acquisitions are part of the company’s aggressive growth strategy.
“The acquisition of Whittaker and Eclipse empowers us to broaden our reach across the US in vital coverage sectors for nonprofit organizations. We are excited to extend our reach in the realms of home health and religious insurance, spanning from the West Coast to the Midwest. We anticipate introducing this valuable coverage to a wider range of insureds throughout the nation,” Lamberg said.
