RT Specialty has announced the appointment of Matt Bernal as a vice president in its property practice group. Bernal is based in the company’s San Francisco office.
Bernal brings 15 years of property insurance experience to the role. Prior to joining RT Specialty, he worked for Hiscox, where he managed property for all the company’s territories outside the Southeast. Bernal focuses on CAT-exposed, national accounts, with target markets including mixed real estate, offices, healthcare, habitational, hospitality, municipal bonds, education, warehousing, and light manufacturing.
