Inszone Insurance Services has announced the acquisition of Missouri-based DeVoy Insurance Group.
Headquartered in Brookfield, Mo., DeVoy Insurance Group is led by Blake DeVoy, whose family has been in the insurance industry for more than a century.
In 1910, DeVoy’s great-grandfather founded the first insurance agency in Brookfield, later selling the firm to another local agency. DeVoy’s father co-founded an agency in 1982, and DeVoy entered the insurance industry in 2002 at the age of 19. DeVoy has held diverse roles in the insurance space, including working as an underwriter and claims representative.

DeVoy said the changing insurance landscape bolstered his decision to join Inszone.
“I recognized the changing demands of the insurance climate and wanted to ensure that my clients received the highest level of service,” he said.
DeVoy Insurance Group is the latest in a string of investments for Inszone. Earlier this month, Inszone announced the acquisition of Nevada-based Citizen Choice Insurance & Investments. Last month, the company acquired California-headquartered Sanfilippo & Sons Insurance Services.
