Burns & Wilcox has announced several leadership promotions as part of its efforts to expand and strengthen its operations across the US.

Bonnie Steen, who is set to mark 18 years with the company in 2025, has been promoted to regional vice president. Steen previously served as vice president and managing director for the company’s offices in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Ruston, Louisiana.

In her new role, she will oversee operations in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama. She will continue to report to Blaise D’Antoni, executive vice president for the company’s Eastern region.

Meanwhile, William Briscoe has been elevated to vice president. Briscoe, who has been with the company for nearly 13 years, will retain his position as managing director for the Oxford, Mississippi, and Birmingham, Alabama, offices, now reporting to Steen.

Chris Siegel, who joined the company 10 years ago, has been promoted to vice president and will assume responsibility for all company offices in Florida.

Siegel, who previously held the position of associate vice president and managing director for the Orlando and South Florida offices, will now oversee operations statewide.

Meanwhile, Berri Willis, with more than 17 years of experience at Burns & Wilcox, has also been named vice president. Willis will continue to lead the company’s offices across the Carolinas.

Finally, Justin Dorman has been promoted to associate managing director in Charleston, South Carolina. Dorman, who has been with the company for more than 10 years, will take on the daily management of the Charleston office, reporting to Willis.

The promotions come after a series of other leadership changes at Burns & Wilcox. In February, the company appointed Joseph Ross from US Risk and Obie Scott from USI as associate managing directors to bolster leadership in California.

In October 2024, Tom Carvalho was promoted to managing director for Burns & Wilcox’s offices in San Francisco, Seattle and Portland.

Additionally, in July 2024, Larry Paulaski was appointed regional vice president for the Southwest region, overseeing offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Scottsdale. Brett Faustman was also named managing director for the company’s offices in Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids.

Danny Kaufman, president of Burns & Wilcox, emphasized the importance of these leadership transitions.

“Each of these leaders has taken on additional responsibility as their careers have progressed with our company,” Kaufman said. “Bonnie, William, Chris, Berri, and Justin have played key roles in our success, and we look forward to their continued leadership in furthering our position in the industry.”
