Inszone Insurance Services, which recently snapped up Keith Williams Insurance Agency in Texas, has added another firm to its roster of acquired firms – this time swooping for A&B Insurance Agency in Marin County, California.
A&B Insurance Agency was founded in 1994 by Joan Applebome and her late husband Jeffrey Baker with the goal of helping people protect their assets.
From humble beginnings in their home, Applebome and Baker developed a successful property and casualty insurance business. Over time, the couple built a team of loyal employees, each with more than 15 years of service with the agency.
Recognizing the importance of diversification, the founders previously broadened their services to include commercial and health insurance, providing a comprehensive suite of offerings. This strategy enabled the agency to serve its high-end clientele more effectively and cultivate long-term relationships.
Applebome, with her strong background in business administration and human resources, led the agency’s growth while agency manager Darrel Huizinga played a key role in daily operations and the management of significant commercial accounts. Huizinga’s 14 years with the firm and his deep industry knowledge have been vital to the success of the business.
“We are thrilled to welcome A&B Insurance Agency to the Inszone Insurance Services family,” Inszone chief executive Chris Walters (pictured) commented. “Joan and Darrel’s dedication to personalized service and their commitment to ethical practices align perfectly with our values at Inszone.
“This acquisition further strengthens our presence in Marin County and underscores our mission to provide exceptional insurance solutions and support to our clients.”
The transaction, financial terms of which were not disclosed, comes on the heels of Inszone’s deal with Keith Williams Insurance Agency announced earlier this week.
Walters said at the time: “Joining forces with Keith Williams Insurance Agency, Inc. is a significant milestone for Inszone Insurance Services. Keith’s unwavering commitment to his clients and his community mirrors our core values at Inszone.”
