National insurance firm Higginbotham has announced an alliance with Ohio-based Boston Insurance Group.
Higginbotham CEO Rusty Reid said the company – which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year – has found long-term success through careful, strategic growth.
The deal extends Higginbotham’s presence in Ohio, as the Texas-based firm announced a partnership with western Ohio-based Community Insurance Group earlier this year.
“We are thrilled to form this relationship with Boston Insurance,” Reid said. “Greg Boston spent decades building his company from a one-man shop to a thriving business with a large portfolio and expertise that includes a wide range of specialty offerings. We’re looking forward to bringing some of those service offerings, such as an insurance program designed specifically for landscaping contractors, to a wider customer base.”

Higginbotham’s Day Two Services are designed to build a positive, responsive relationship between brokers and clients, the company said.

Boston Insurance Group is the latest addition to Higginbotham’s growing roster. The firm also recently announced an alliance with Texas-based Marshall Young Insurance.
