CRC Group is wrapping up 2024 with a significant leadership shift, bringing in four experienced brokers to bolster its growing team. This strategic move is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing service offerings for retail agency clients nationwide.

Michael Schmitt (pictured left) steps into the Denver office as a broker, bringing expertise from his background in risk management, commercial insurance, bonding, employee benefits, and personal lines consulting.

Meanwhile, the Irvine office welcomes Sean McPhillips (pictured center, left) as a casualty broker. McPhillips’ extensive experience includes roles as a business development underwriter at a surplus lines insurer and an underwriter at a global underwriting firm.

In Birmingham, Bailey Cadden (pictured center, right) takes on the role of broker, offering over seven years of industry experience, including a recent position as an underwriter with a leading MGA and carrier in the U.S. specialty property market.

Blake Rios (pictured right) joins the New York office as a broker, with a solid foundation as an associate broker at a prominent wholesale insurance brokerage.

These new hires are part of several strategic additions throughout the year, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to solidifying its market position. Earlier this year, CRC Group welcomed professionals like David An, Nicholas Prince, Anna Brown, Sarah McKenna, Joseph Carothers, and Craig Brown to expand expertise and strengthen its geographical presence.

CRC Group has 5,100 employees across the U.S. and Canada. The company is poised for continued growth in its diverse service offerings, including property and casualty, employee benefits, life, annuities, and long-term care insurance solutions.
