Selorm is the Broking Manager of Talbot Jones Ltd, Chartered Insurance Brokers, based in Gateshead. TJ Ltd is a specialist brokerage supporting third sector organisations and professional practices. Selorm has about 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry, with half that time spent as a Reinsurance Technician, Actuarial Analyst and Underwriter for pan-African insurers. He holds the CII Diploma in General Insurance and is an accredited BDMA Insurance Technician. He serves on the Young Professionals Group of the Insurance Institute of Newcastle upon Tyne. Selorm holds a BSc in Actuarial Sciences from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. Outside of work he is involved in mentoring young people across the NE of England and is part of a working committee of Actuarial Society of Ghana.
