Bravo Networks, which spans Broker Network and Compass, has partnered with learning and development company Raise the Bar to offer fully funded apprenticeships to members in England.
“The Networks are delighted to share our apprenticeship levy with our members to support them in retaining talent, developing emerging talent, and allowing their first-time managers to gain valuable insight into leading teams effectively,” said Rachel Longbottom, service performance and innovation head at Bravo Networks. “I am a huge advocate for people development, helping to identify people’s strengths and maximising their potential in the workplace.
“It’s important that we continue to push for apprenticeships and internal development opportunities within the insurance space, especially when it comes to attracting new and young talent to the industry. It’s unlikely brokers will find someone who is new to insurance with all the qualifications they might want for a role, so it’s much more important to hire based on their attitude and personality – skills can be learnt.”
Designed for both aspiring managers who want to develop into a management role and managers with experience in team or project management, Raise the Bar’s L3 Excelling in Team Leadership programme is aimed at developing leaders.
Meanwhile Bravo Networks is working with ALS Training in Wales to provide a similar offering to Welsh members.
