Insurtech company Worry+Peace has marked its first foray into open insurance with the release of a pair of automated and scalable review-focused tools accessible to all providers who are using the firm’s online platform.
Reviews API gives each insurer a default key and a corresponding product key to every product it lists on the Worry+Peace marketplace, allowing for seamless data transmission. Onboarding for existing providers has already started and is set to be completed by the end of August.
“I’m really proud to release what I think must be among the first totally ubiquitous APIs for insurance providers,” said James York, the firm’s founder. “Reviews API is simple, easy to deploy and flanked by even simpler technology for those without big tech budgets or resources.”
The company has also launched Reviews BCC, which enables insurers to send out customised review requests by copying Worry+Peace in outbound e-mails. The tool can also be automated using a CRM system.
Both tools operate on a “cost-per-use basis,” with users given the option to spend their credits on inviting reviews or boosting their listings.
Traditionally, Worry+Peace’s platform offers feedback tools for experiences, including quote, buying, support, and claims experience, segmented by product. In addition to these, Reviews API and Reviews BCC subscribers can gather pre-purchase feedback from potential buyers.
“Our reviews model encourages providers to start the feedback process earlier – where most of their heavy operational costs are really deployed,” York said. “Asking a successfully closed buyer to review you isn’t nearly as powerful as asking for feedback when you’re yet to be chosen.”
Reviews API and Reviews BCC are now live across all 91 managed provider accounts on the Worry+Peace platform. Insurers can sign up for free and get 100 free review tests.
