They say ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’… Over at Welsh technology firm Vizolution, chances are there won’t be dull boys and girls – what with its new Silicon Valley-inspired headquarters (pictured), which comes equipped with a relaxation/recharge space, phone booths, and even a “quiet library” area.
The expanding software house, whose clientele includes two of the top five UK insurance companies, has moved to the purpose-built office at Bay Studios Business Park in Swansea. Set on a 12,500sq ft location, the new premises features an open-plan design and has meeting pods and breakout rooms.
“We are very excited about expanding our presence in Swansea and very pleased to be bringing a little bit of Silicon Valley to the Welsh Valleys,” commented Vizolution chief executive Bill Safran. “The Silicon Valley inspired open-plan format has been designed to encourage collaboration, creativity, and employee well-being.
“Our new office will provide the launchpad for the continued growth of the business.”
Named the fastest growing tech company in Wales at the Fast Growth 50 Awards in 2017, Vizolution provides omni-channel customer experience SaaS-based software solutions not only to the insurance industry but also to banks as well as firms in the telecommunications and energy markets.
With offices in Swansea, London, Bristol, and Toronto, the business has seen its workforce expand from 10 people to more than 130 in five years.
